December 2012, Hue Heritage Conservation Center in cooperation with Thua Thien
Hue Tourism Association will organize “Hue heritage – Week of tourists” program
to introduce, promote Hue heritage, attract more and more domestic and
international tourists.
This is the event to respond to
National Tourism Year of the North Central Coast Region - Hue 2012 and celebrate
the 20th anniversary of UNESCO - recognized Complex of Hue Monuments as World
Cultural Heritage (1993 - 2013). Vietnam Visa On Arrival
The highlight of the event is “Royal
Night” program which will take place on 30th December at Ngo Mon – Thai Hoa
Palace – Can Chanh Palace and Truong Lang to reconstitute a part of royal living
activities at Dai Noi area as performances of art types, royal games… Besides,
the program will also have award ceremony for travel agencies leading the most
tourists to Hue relics; promulgation of tourism promotion program 2013…
Especially, tourists to Hue
monuments in the golden week will be received many incentives such as free
tickets to visit some monuments, discount price for service of seeing changing
guard ceremony in front of Ngo Mon Gate at 9:00 am daily, free tickets to Dai
Noi Gate to participate in “Royal Night”... On this occasion, Hue Heritage
Conservation Center will give gifts to the 2,000,000th-tourist, the
1,999,999th-tourist and the 2,000,001st-tourist to Hue monuments.
In addition, many other activities
will be also organized by travel agencies, hotels belonging to Thua Thien – Hue
Tourism Association. Sai Gon Morin Hotel will issue 2,000 vouchers with 50%
discount for stay service at the hotel. Hue Tourist Company will offer 100
vouchers with 30% discount for “The afternoon in Tam Giang Lagoon” tour and 100
vouchers with 30% discount for “Central Heritage Road” tour…
To prepare this event, Hue Heritage
Conservation Center and Thua Thien Hue Tourism Association also signed
cooperation memorandum for supporting tourism activities in the province.
Since the beginning of 2012, on the
occasions of the Lunar New Year, Liberation Day of Thua Thien Hue (26th March)
and National Day (2nd September), Hue Heritage Conservation Center has offered
more than 100,000 free tickets to visit Hue monuments for students and teachers
of schools in the province…
